Are they true to the advertised colour? Are there any issues with fading or discoloration over time?
They are almost similar with the actual, but due to different display devices or lighting environment, they may appear chromatic aberration. The colors are rich and vibrant which are designed to be long-lasting and fade resistant.
Do they block sunlight effectively?
Since they don't have the back liner, the high quality soft velvet are unable to block sunlight completely, but they are effectively in room darkening and truly privacy. The darker colors can work better.
Do they provide adequate thermal insulation? Do they help reduce outside noise?
The velvet curtains are thermal insulated and can regulate room temperature by insulating against summer heat and winter chill. The thick velvet material is effective at blocking out a bit external sounds and providing a quieter environment inside.
Are they machine washable and dryable?
The curtains are machine washable on a gentle cycle or can be dry cleaned. Iron on low heat from the back to remove any creases. They are durable to maintain their shape well over time.
